Complaint Description
To, The Railway Authority / Divisional Railway Manager Indian Railways Subject: Complaint regarding defective door, excessive noise and poor maintenance in Train No. 12931 – Request for refund Dear Sir/Madam, I travelled with my wife on Train No. 12931 (ADI Double Decker) on 26.09.2026, from Mumbai Central to Navsari. Our journey details are as follows: Coach No.: C8L Seat Nos.: 1 and 2 Journey Date: 26.09.2026 Route: Mumbai Central to Navsari The door located behind our seats was not functioning properly. Whenever passengers opened the door, it closed with a very loud banging noise, causing considerable disturbance and discomfort throughout our journey. We also noticed that adhesive tape/sellotape had already been used on the door, indicating that there was an issue with the door. We contacted the coach maintenance staff on Mobile No. 9724044850. A staff member came and inspected the door. We were informed that the issue would be checked after Surat. However, we had to continue our journey with the loud noise and repeated disturbance.
