Complaint Regarding Train Delay and Lack of Basic Facilities at Pettah Railway Station, Thiruvananthapuram
Complaint Description
I would like to raise a complaint regarding the significant delay of my train and the lack of basic passenger facilities at Pettah Railway Station, Thiruvananthapuram. The train was scheduled to depart at 9:00 PM, but even at 10:30 PM, it had not started, resulting in a delay of more than one hour. Additionally, there are no basic facilities available on Platform No. 2, near coach position 18. There are no benches for passengers to sit on and no proper shelter to protect passengers from rain. Passengers are forced to stand in the rain while waiting for the delayed train, causing considerable inconvenience and discomfort. It is unacceptable that passengers are expected to wait for extended periods without even basic seating or weather protection. I request the Railway authorities to: Investigate the reason for the train delay and provide timely updates to passengers. Arrange basic seating facilities on Platform No. 2. Provide adequate roofing or shelter to protect passengers from rain. Take immediate action to improve passenger facilities at Pettah Railway Station. Please treat this complaint seriously and take the necessary corrective action to ensure passenger comfort and safety.
