Subject: Request for Full Refund – Train No. 12161 (Lashkar Express) Delayed by More Than 7 Hours Dear Sir/Madam, I had booked a ticket on Train No. 12161, Lashkar Express, from Nashik Road to Jalgaon. My PNR number is 8655067861. The train was delayed by more than 7 hours, causing significant inconvenience and disruption to my travel plans. Due to this excessive delay, I had to cancel my ticket and decided not to undertake the journey. As per Indian Railways' refund rules, passengers who do not undertake their journey because the train is delayed by more than three hours are eligible for a full refund, subject to the applicable rules and prescribed procedure. However, I have received a message stating that only ₹95 will be refunded, which does not appear to be in accordance with the applicable refund rules. I therefore request you to kindly review my case, verify the train's actual delay, and process my full eligible refund as per Indian Railways' rules. If the refund has been restricted to ₹95, please provide the specific reason and the applicable rule under which this amount has been calculated.
