I am writing this letter to bring to your immediate attention the severe inconvenience, unhygienic conditions, and substandard service experienced during my journey aboard Train No. 12834 (Howrah – Ahmedabad Express). Here are the details of the journey: Passenger Name: Arvind Singh PNR Number: 6609722437 Train Number: 12834 Coach / Seat Numbers: A1, Berths 23 and 29 (AC 2-Tier) Despite paying premium fares for AC 2-Tier accommodation, the facilities and maintenance provided are far below acceptable standards: Abnormal Delay: The train is currently running late by over 11 hours, causing immense mental harassment, fatigue, and disruption to scheduled commitments. Dilapidated Infrastructure: The coach is fitted with outdated, poorly maintained infrastructure, including an old-pattern Western-style lavatory that is in urgent need of overhaul. Severe Pest Infestation: The toilets and washroom areas are infested with live cockroaches and insects, posing a serious health hazard and making basic sanitary use intolerable.
