Complaint Description
Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Excessive Delay, Poor Hygiene, and Passenger Hardship on Train No. 20693 Respected Sir/Madam, I would like to lodge an urgent complaint regarding Train No. 20693, which is running with a delay of more than three hours. The train is progressing extremely slowly, with frequent and prolonged stops at many stations without any apparent reason. As passengers, we have not been informed of any operational, security, or weather-related issues that would explain such a significant delay. The excessive delay has caused serious inconvenience to passengers. Many people, especially those travelling in the general compartment, have been forced to remain in overcrowded conditions for long hours, leading to discomfort and suffocation. In addition, the condition of the general compartment is highly unsatisfactory. The toilets are dirty and poorly maintained, with an unpleasant smell throughout the coach. The floors and washrooms have not been cleaned properly, making them unhygienic and difficult to use. Passengers pay for their tickets with the expectation of receiving at least basic standards of cleanliness, safety, and punctuality. The current condition of the train does not meet those expectations. I request Indian Railways to: 1. Investigate the reason for the excessive delay and take immediate steps to minimise further delay. 2. Inform passengers about the cause of the delay through regular announcements. 3. Ensure the train staff arrange immediate cleaning of the general compartment and toilets wherever possible. 4. Review the operation of this train to improve punctuality and passenger comfort in the future. Kindly treat this matter as urgent and take appropriate action at the earliest. Thank you. Yours faithfully, A Concerned Passenger Train No. 20693
