Complaint Description
This complaint is against your employed staff Mr. S Banerjee. He was in uniform and asked us for money repeatedly in front of a reputed hotel in Kolkata (Novotel). Mr.Banerjee being in your reputed uniform and upon insistence took money from us and insisted it was for purposes of travel as he was stranded and did not have cash and never returned via UPI nor did he communicate or pick up our calls. I strongly believe he has done this with multiple people before and if he is not employed by Indian Railways I think you should take strong action against him as he is misusing his uniform and duping fellow citizens of Kolkata and is a fraud using the Indian Railways uniform. We only gave him the money because we thought he was an honest man employed by Indian Railways. His contact number is: 8282093098 and his full name is Sanmoy Banerjee. He assured us of him being an honorable employee of Indian Railways. This complaint is not about money, it is about the dishonest nature of your employee. Kindly look into this matter as incidents like this within reputed hotel premises especially with foreigners all around really taints our reputation as a whole and leaves a very poor impression of Indian Railways Staff.
