Due to the large influx of passengers traveling to Prayagraj for the Mahakumbh, the train became extremely overcrowded, and despite holding a confirmed reservation with a fare of ₹1,545, I was unable to board. There was insufficient space even for luggage, and this mismanagement affected not only me but also approximately 15 families present at the station. The absence of adequate crowd control measures and the resulting safety risks clearly highlight a lapse in governance. To help prevent such issues in the future, I respectfully suggest the following actions: 1. Deploy police personnel in each coach: This will ensure that only authorized passengers are allowed on board, maintaining order and safety. 2. Enforce strict reservation protocols: Keeping the train doors closed to unauthorized or unreserved passengers could significantly curb overcrowding. 3. Plan alternative arrangements during major events: For occasions like the Mahakumbh, consider organizing additional special trains or alternate travel options to manage the surge in passenger traffic. Sir, I am a student going to my college, and I have no hope that this message will even be read by anyone. Nonetheless, I am compelled to file this complaint, not only to request a full refund of my fare but also to urge you to take the necessary corrective actions to ensure the safety and convenience of all passengers in the future.
