Train missed due to non-announcement of Train arrival
Complaint Description
I was travelling from Kotayam to Thrissur on 8Sep 2026 with confirmed reservation, last 4 digits of my PNR being 6314. I reached Kotayam railway station about 45 minutes early and was waiting at the platform for the announcement of the train. Though announcements of other trains came, there was no announcement at all about Jan Shatabdi (12082). Suddenly, a train came at 1735 hrs and I had no way to confirm whether it was the same train I was waiting for. Since I was not sure about the train, I didn't board the train. Only after the train departed I came to know that it was Jan Shatabdi for which I was waiting. Then my only option was to board the following train Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Superfast train in the unreserved coach which was too crowded that I had to travel standing for part of the journey. This has caused me a lot of mental and physical agony in addition to financial loss. Please be kind enough to examine the matter and do the needful to compensate me for all the harsh experiences I had to undergo for no mistake of mine.
