Complaint Regarding PRS Refund Counter Misguidance and Passenger Harassment
Complaint Description
We booked 6 tickets offline for Pathankot to Pune 11078 on 10 march and travel date was 9 may 1.35 am ,tickets was on waiting list after the chart prepare. So I cancelled my PRS counter ticket online for PNR 2832718271 and received an official message stating that the refund could be collected from any PRS counter before scheduled departure. I immediately visited Palampur railway station for refund assistance at 3.30 pm 8 may , but no proper guidance or support was provided. Railway staff informed me that the reservation/refund counter closed at 2 PM, we requested the station master to take the ticket for refund but he didn't entertain us for that and miss guide us to go for Chandigarh station Due to contradictory information and lack of assistance, I had to travel separately to Chandigarh station for refund processing, causing unnecessary inconvenience, stress, time loss, and extra travel expense but on Chandigarh station they told us go to pune so i travel to pune but on pune station they are saying me go to pathankot station but it was late and now refund will not get I request Indian Railways to investigate this issue and ensure proper passenger guidance regarding PRS refund facilities and counter timings so that passengers do not suffer similar harassment in future and please do my refund as soon as possible it is large amount 15275 and i had the msg for refund after deduction 14950 PNR: 2832718271 Train: 11078 Jhelum Express
